Brooks Lee is one of the few Cal Poly baseball players who made it to the Major League Baseball. He was born and raised in San Luis Obispo, California. To then continue his education at Cal Poly, where he played for his dad, Larry Lee, who has been Cal Poly’s baseball coach for over 20 seasons.
He comes from a family that is involved in baseball more forely the San Francisco Giants. Where his dad and uncle had both been players after high school. On July 3rd, 2024, Lee was called up to the major leagues by the Minnesota Twins.
When Lee was attending Cal Poly, his status was astonishing, with a total of twenty-five homeruns for the years 2021-2022, and 114 RBI (Runs Batted In).
These high stats were the reason he was picked by the San Francisco Giants. As he improved even more, when signed by the twins in 2022, two years later was called up to the Major Leagues.
Lee had an incredible season this past year of 2025. He had 16 home runs, 115 hits, and, to top it off, 50 runs. One of his greatest games was finishing a win with a walk-off. That made the Twins second straight game.
